Outreach is defined as an organization’s
involvement with or activity in the community,
especially in the context of social welfare. Sharing
the Good News of the Gospel! Part of the definition
for outreach is to reach beyond; exceed. As
believers, we are commanded to go out and preach the
gospel to every Nation. We are called as a body of
Christ to take our experience, our learning, living,
and fellowship out to those who are in need. This is
part of how we become over comers, when we share our
testimony and hope in Christ. In the Great
Commission, God gave the Church its marching orders:
Go to the whole world, to the end of the age. The
heart of outreach is reaching out by going to the
people who are lost. Our outreach ministry does this
by reaching out to meet various needs. Through
various events, programs, and organiazation, we
provide essential aid to our community, such as
food, clothing, and most important of all, we offer
hope through Christ.
